Video Editing Prices

Media Edits is meticulous about video editing design and it is very carefully planned. There are many variables we consider before starting, and it is viewed over many times before the final rendering to DVD.

We maintain a standard of creating the best quality work from what we are given. Media Edits makes every attempt to use as much of your footage as possible, but there may be times where the shot is shaky, over/under expose, out of focus etc. In these cases we will not use the footage.

Time of completion varies depending on the size of the job. Because we take so much pride in our work and are so meticulous with the work we create, the job can take a month to a few months. So, if you have an occasion where you will need this movie created, try to plan ahead.

All digital video editing levels include the following:

  • Color corrections
  • Audio corrections
  • Carefully selected music
  • Text and credits
  • Custom DVD menu and cover
  • Slideshow (photo must be on CD in jpeg format. see Slideshow)
  • Introductions and endings
  • iPod version

 

 

Video Editing Pricing

Price based on
per hour of tape.

Formats are 8-mm cassettes, VHS, DV or HDV

First level:

SD with stereo:
$300.00

Second level:

SD with surround sound: $325.00

Fourth level:

HD with surround sound:
$400.00

SD is up converted to 60fps HD. DVD player must support HD.

Slideshows:

Photos can be scanned in or on a CD

CD- photo: $50.00 per hour to create an original slideshow.

Scanned: scanned photos are $1.00 per photo plus $50.00 per hour to create an original slideshow. Plus shipping and handling.

Rush orders: If you need your video or slideshow done immediately we can accommodate you. Your rush order will have to be discuss either via email or on the phone.
